Ramsdens recently acquired 4 franshises of the Cheque Shop. The decision was made to close one of the branches and re-brand the remaining three.

The branches are located in Ashington, Consett and Wallsend, three locations that are new to Ramsdens.

This is the first time Ramsdens have taken on 3 branches at once, a challenge for all staff, existing and new, but the acquisition went without a hitch and everyone worked as a team to make the transition extremely smooth for all existing customers.

Peter Kenyon, Ramsdens CEO is extremely positive about the new locations. "We are always looking for new locations to expand into, when the possibility of 3 new locations arose I knew that the Ramsdens team would be more than capable of rising to the challenge. The transition from The Cheque Shop to Ramsdens has been very warmly received by both customers and staff, we now hope to build on the already established relationships and imprive them for everyone involved."
