Following an approach from Western Union to offer their worldwide money transfer service, Ramsdens have agreed to offer Western Union in their branches.

As the North East's largest pawnbroker and cheque casher, the Ramsdens chain of branches was a logical addition to the network of Western Union agents.

Western Union have over 245000 agents in over 150 countries and they allow people to send money quickly and efficiently from one person to another with minimum fuss. Once the remitting agent has processed the transfer the beneficiary can get the funds in their local currency in minutes subject to any world wide time differences!
