Ramsdens Financial Ltd is a specialist consumer financial services organisation that primarily helps people to obtain cash. To achieve this we draw on over 50 years experience as a niche relationship lender within our market sector. Our understanding of our customers' needs means we work closely with them to provide an unrivalled level of customer service and bespoke flexible financial products, delivered by our two main operating divisions, Ramsdens Branches and Ramsdens Online.
BRIEF HISTORY
Ramsdens Financial Ltd is a privately owned business which was founded in Middlesbrough in the 1950's by Herbert Smith, father of the current Executive Chairman, Stewart Smith.
The first Ramsdens store opened in 1987 in Stockton on Tees. The chain is now over 85 stores strong with branches across Yorkshire, South Wales, Scotland and Northern England. The company is now the largest family owned and independent pawnbroker and jewller in the UKRamsdens Online
Ramsdens operates a high profile E-Commerce division, principally through our three websites www.RamsdensForCash.co.uk, www.GotGoldGetCash.co.uk and www.PremierPawnbroking.co.uk.
In August 2009 Ramsdens Financial Limited was the first high street chain of pawnbrokers to have an online Pawnbroking Service, Premier Pawnbroking. This online facility enables Ramsdens to service a wider customer base across the UK.
Ramsdens is one of the UK's leading purchasers of damaged and unwanted gold which is promoted through our industry leading and award winning website www.GotGoldGetCash.co.uk.
RAMSDENS BRANCHES
The first Ramsdens branch opened in Stockton on Tees in 1987 and since that time it has provided thousands of customers with access to short term cash loan facilites.Ramsdens have branches in South Wales, Scotland and Northern England. Each branch offers a wide range of services including pawnbroking, buying unwanted jewellery, retail of new and second hand jewellery, cheque cashing, short term loans until pay day, travel money and buying of unwanted mobile phones.
