Important update about the Ramsdens Mastercard® Prepaid EURO Travel Card and the Ramsdens Mastercard® Prepaid US DOLLAR Travel Card

Dear Cardholder,

Following our previous communications and a formal notice from Omnio Group on behalf of Payrnet Limited, the Ramsdens Prepaid Travel Mastercard programme closed on the 15th February 2022.

If you have any funds left on your card you will no longer be able to spend or withdraw that balance.  Your balance is safe and you need to request a refund of the monies into your bank account as per below.  We would recommend that you do this as soon as possible.

  • Requesting a refund from Omnio Group.

    Omnio have requested that you email travelcard@ramsdensfinancial.co.uk and quote ‘Refund Required’.

    Payrnet Limited will send your US$ or € balance to your bank and your bank will convert the funds to £ and credit your bank account.

If you have already emailed to request a refund, there is no need to do so again.

The information required to request a refund is;

  1. The last 4 digits of your travel card
  2. Proof of your bank account details by way of a copy of your bank statement that includes name and bank details. 

    For data security, Omnio Group have recommended password protecting your copy bank statement and then sending the password separately also by email.  

Once the refund is authorised by Omnio Group the payment back to your bank account will be made by the card issuer, PayrNet Limited.  We are advised this process can take up to 60 days.  Please accept our apologies for this timeframe but the whole process is outside Ramsdens’ control.
